I have decided to split all my posted material here into English and Chinese version. So some of my friends that are not familiar with Chinese can read my...diary (or something else rather...?) too.
Oh, today while revising for my interpreting class, an article got my attention. It said: " A person's perspective (or how they categorize) of this world is restricted by the language that the person uses/is familiar with. Since all languages have a variety of categorizing systems within them. So how you view the things happening around you depend on your language." So I thought, well if that is the case then does that mean you get to see the world in a more complete way if you knew more languages? And can the world even be categorized by languages in the first place?
